David Bailis is a Brooklyn-based guitarist, composer, and bandleader blending modern jazz, groove-driven improvisation, and contemporary instrumental composition into an energetic live experience.
Known for melodic interplay, strong rhythmic feel, and exploratory improvisation, Bailis performs regularly throughout NYC and the Northeast with projects ranging from intimate jazz trio settings to larger ensemble performances.
His latest album, Running Through My Mind, was submitted for Grammy consideration in the Best Instrumental Jazz Album category.
